Grande Epicerie is one of the largest spaces dedicated to gourmet food in the
“Le Bon Marche” department store, Paris. Founded in 1852 the current owners are
none other than the largest group in the global Luxury industry, LVMH (Louis
Vuitton Moet Hennessy). A commitment to the finest food in the heart of Paris with
a vast range of French and international products. It is situated on the left
bank of the Seine (Rive Gauche), and was committed originally to compete with
the other established businesses of the right bank (rive droite), Galeries
Lafayette and Printemps. The food hall stocks over 5000 different products
arising from a rigorous selection process and from being constantly revised. On
the shelves of this palace of taste you can buy almost everything, from the
best fruits and vegetables through more than 200 types of cheese, Foie Gras and
Iberian hams, not to mention the fresh seafood brought in the night before.
Trays of excellent sushi are just one of the succulent proposals of prepared
